# Avanade AI Security Internship

Avanade is a global IT consulting firm seeking a graduation intern to focus on AI Security as a dedicated discipline. This internal internship will involve developing a Proof of Concept and reference architecture for securing enterprise AI workloads using Microsoft technologies.

## What you'll do:

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly embedded in enterprise environments through copilots, intelligent agents, and machine learning solutions. While AI delivers clear business value, it also introduces a new and largely unexplored attack surface.

You will explore how enterprises can safely use AI at scale without losing control over data, decisions, and compliance. The focus is not on building AI models, but on designing the security, governance, and control framework around AI, including identity, data governance, and responsible usage controls.

The result should provide clear guidance on how organizations can adopt AI safely and responsibly at enterprise scale, without limiting innovation. This assignment will help position AI Security into Avanade's existing offerings and solutions.

## Requirements:

• 4th year HBO student or WO master's student
• Available for a graduation internship from 1 September 2026
• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Interested in: AI literacy, Security Architecture, Cloud Security, Risk assessment, Data Governance, Enterprise Compliance, Privacy, Responsible AI
• Strong analytical thinking skills and critical eye
• Drive to develop innovative solutions for complex issues
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
• Initiative and responsibility for defining research scope
