# Data & AI Platform Engineer
We are looking for a Data & AI Platform Engineer for our enablement team. In this role, you build the paved roads that teams need to deliver quickly and compliantly: standards, templates, guardrails, and reusable building blocks.
## Your role
As a Data & AI Platform Engineer, you work in enablement teams that establish the platform and delivery capabilities that data and AI domains can accelerate on. You build reusable patterns, automate onboarding, and make quality and governance standard components of the path to production.
You are involved in, among other things:
- Developing golden paths / paved roads for data and AI delivery (templates, reference implementations, pipelines)
- Building reusable components for CI/CD and release automation (including quality gates)
- Integrating governance and metadata requirements in the platform (standards, tagging, discoverability)
- Supporting teams with onboarding: "start fast, get it right immediately"
- Collaborating with platform, security, data, and AI stakeholders to make standards practical
- Improving observability, operational readiness, and cost-awareness (FinOps mindset)
- Documenting and productizing assets to make them discoverable and reusable (marketplace thinking)
## What you bring
- HBO/WO (higher professional education/university) level thinking and working approach with IT/engineering background
- At least 3 years of experience with software engineering in a cloud/platform context
- Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure/platform concepts (automation, pipelines, deployment)
- Affinity with data & AI delivery (pipelines, lifecycle, production requirements)
- Familiarity with cloud-native principles and working in Agile/DevSecOps teams
- Strong communication skills: you can explain standards and promote their adoption (Dutch and English)
## Advantages
