You work in our Research & Development department on innovations for automation systems. In the vision team, you will transform existing technical specifications into commercially successful end products. Your focus is on developing your own analyses using Computer Vision algorithms written in C++ and/or Python. The ultimate goal is to optimize the sorting process for mail and parcels using our optical measurement and control technology.
Your Profile:
- Completed degree (bachelor/master) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Engineering Physics or similar
- 7+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong practical experience with Python and C++
- Proven experience with computer vision and image processing
- Good understanding of multithreading and performance optimization
- Affinity with embedded hardware and Linux is an advantage
- Problem-solving skills and ability to develop accurate and efficient solutions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
