Robotics Engineer for autonomous systems. You develop the brain of unmanned systems, from small reconnaissance drones to massive autonomous vehicles.
Daily tasks:
- Develop robust simulation environments (e.g. Godot, Gazebo) with advanced sensor simulation (Lidar, GPS, IMU, depth cameras)
- Implement advanced autonomous navigation techniques such as SLAM, Visual/Lidar odometry and path planning
- Develop autonomous tactical behaviour with Behavior Trees and Deep Reinforcement Learning
- Test and iterate by deploying algorithms directly on dedicated indoor and outdoor test robots
Requirements:
- Completed HBO or university degree in Robotics, Systems & Control, AI, Computer Science or related technical field
- Hands-on experience with autonomous navigation (localisation, sensor fusion, image processing)
- Familiarity with ROS 2 and simulation software (Godot, Gazebo)
- Professional Dutch and English language proficiency
