## Robotics Engineer
We are looking for a Robotics Engineer to help us build the future of autonomy. You will work on the 'brain' of unmanned systems and turn complex scientific papers into real-world capabilities. From small reconnaissance drones to massive autonomous vehicles, you will see your code move physical hardware.
### What You'll Do
- Building the Virtual World: Developing robust simulation environments (e.g., Godot, Gazebo) with advanced sensor simulation (Lidar, GPS, IMU, depth cameras)
- Navigating the Real World: Implementing next-gen autonomous navigation techniques like SLAM, Visual/Lidar odometry, and route planning
- Teaching Machines to Think: Developing autonomous tactical behavior using Behavior Trees and Deep Reinforcement Learning
- Testing & Iterating: Deploying and testing your algorithms directly on our dedicated indoor and outdoor test robots
### What We're Looking For
- Education: A completed higher professional or university degree (HBO/WO) in Robotics, Systems & Control, AI, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- Core Expertise: Hands-on experience with autonomous navigation (localization, sensor fusion, image processing)
- Familiarity with ROS 2 and simulation software (Godot, Gazebo)
- Professional command of both Dutch and English
### Why You'll Love Working With Us
- Competitive market salary, a solid pension scheme, and an 8% holiday allowance
- 31 days of annual leave
- Access to Internal Academy and tailored training programs
- Company laptop, phone, and a bicycle plan
- Free fresh fruit, premium coffee, regular team social events, and an annual company weekend getaway
- High-performing engineers with a healthy work-life balance; we actively discourage overtime
