# Senior Data Scientist – AI Core Team NN Pension
Are you an experienced Data Scientist who draws energy from improving, accelerating and simplifying services for customers and colleagues alike? For our Life & Pensions business unit, we are looking for a senior Data Scientist to strengthen our AI domain.
## What you will do
Within the AI core team of NN Pension, you will work on diverse and meaningful AI solutions, from predictive models to intelligently automating processes. As a senior data scientist, you are the person who translates business challenges into powerful data solutions and takes responsibility for bringing these successfully into production.
## Your responsibilities:
- Build AI solutions: develop and implement both classical and generative AI solutions using techniques such as AI-as-a-Service, Large Language Models (LLMs), Cognitive Services and OpenAI
- Coaching and mentoring: share your knowledge and experience by guiding fellow data scientists and contribute to a collaborative and innovative team culture
- Continuous improvement: take the lead in improving models in production so they continue to deliver value
- Stakeholder Management: collaborate with IT, architecture and MLOps colleagues to efficiently bring models into production

- Salary between € 5,933 and € 7,910 based on 40 hours per week, depending on your knowledge and experience

## What you bring
- Completed university degree with a master's in Computer Science, Econometrics, Mathematics or STEM-related field / minimum 5 years of experience developing ML applications in Python
- Practical knowledge of the data science process (data collection, cleaning, model evaluation, model deployment)
- Experience developing automated APIs and cloud solutions with (Azure) CI/CD tools, Git, Terraform
- Skills to build relationships with a broad stakeholder base
- Proven experience independently setting up complex AI end-to-end solutions
- Experience coaching other data scientists
- Preferably experience designing generative AI solutions such as LLMs
- Good command of the Dutch language (C2 level)
