# AI Technology Specialist I
## The Position
At Organon, you are a key architect of AI transformation. You design AI solutions, lead their delivery, and ensure they land durably in the business. You bring both strategic thinking about AI and practical execution capabilities.
## Job Purpose
Reporting to the BT Lead for LCM, FM and Quality & Labs, you lead the design and delivery of AI and data solutions for the Oss site. You own initiatives end-to-end: from understanding business challenges and designing approaches, to building solutions, driving adoption, and measuring outcomes. You operate with significant autonomy while supporting junior colleagues and contributing to a culture of AI literacy and innovation.
## Key Responsibilities
### Lead AI Opportunity Discovery
- Facilitate structured workshops and interviews with business stakeholders to identify where AI and advanced analytics can unlock value
- Challenge assumptions and synthesize input into actionable problem definitions
- Build business cases for AI initiatives to help leadership make prioritization decisions
### Design & Deliver AI Solutions
- Own the full lifecycle of AI and analytics solutions: scoping, designing, building, testing, and handover
- Select fit-for-purpose tools and methods — from Power BI dashboards to Python-based models to generative AI integrations
- Ensure solutions are scalable, compliant, and genuinely useful
### Architect Data Flows & Models
- Design data structures, transformation logic, and governance frameworks
- Identify data quality issues and propose remediation
- Build reproducible pipelines that give the business confidence in decision-making
### Lead Platform Strategy & Governance
- Take ownership of AI and Data & Analytics platform portfolio
- Evaluate new tools, govern access and usage
- Ensure alignment with security and compliance requirements
### Own Projects & Drive Outcomes
- Lead project streams from initiation to close
- Manage scope, timeline, risks, and stakeholder communication
- Keep senior leaders informed and create conditions for team success
### Build Capability & Coach the Team
- Transfer knowledge to junior colleagues and wider team
- Create reusable frameworks, templates, and playbooks
- Facilitate learning sessions on AI tools and methods
### Navigate Compliance by Design
- Interpret GxP, data integrity, and change control requirements
- Translate compliance requirements into concrete design choices
