# AI & Data Engineer - Innovation Development Team

WPP Media, the Netherlands' largest media organization, seeks an AI & Data Engineer for the Innovation Development Team. In this role, you will be a key driving force behind conceptualizing, exploring and rapidly prototyping new AI and data-driven solutions.

## Key Responsibilities

• AI/Data Innovation & Prototyping: Lead exploration, conceptualization and rapid development of proofs-of-concept and MVPs for innovative AI and data-driven products, with focus on technical feasibility and business value.
• Applied Data Science Engineering: Work closely with Data Scientists on model conceptualization, experimental design and initial implementation. Translate advanced statistical and machine learning models into functional prototypes.
• Full-Stack Prototyping: Develop front-end components (React, TypeScript) and Python-based backend services, consistently focused on rapid iteration and effective demonstration.
• Technical Bridge & Methodological Contribution: Serve as a crucial link between Data Scientists and Engineers, contribute to methodological discussions and guide the innovation pipeline.
• Exploration & Research: Continuously research emerging AI/ML technologies and engineering tools to identify new innovation opportunities.

## Profile

You are proactive, curious and solution-oriented with a passion for innovation and rapid experimentation. You hold a Master's degree in Data Science, Econometrics, Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics (or equivalent experience) and have at least 8 years of hands-on experience in innovation-focused roles.
