Finnish venture builder Reaktor Ecosystem opens Amsterdam hub to co-found next-generation consultancies

2 April 2026·2 min read

A proven model, now going global

Reaktor Ecosystem's co-founding approach has already produced notable exits and scale-ups. AI and ML consultancy Fourkind was founded through the ecosystem in 2017 and acquired by Thoughtworks just four years later. Witted, formed from the merger of three separate ecosystem companies, completed a successful IPO in 2022 on the back of its focus on senior software and data talent. More recently, ten new companies were launched and six exits or merger processes completed in 2025 alone.

The model is deliberately founder-first: Reaktor Ecosystem provides capital, a collaborative community, advisory support and shared business infrastructure, while each company remains an independent, founder-led entity.

Amsterdam: building from day one

The new hub is already operational. The team is working with local founders, organising community and client events, and actively seeking experienced business leads who want to build their own consultancy from the ground up.

Current co-founding priorities include companies focused on AI and data adoption, among them helping organisations implement and scale solutions such as Claude for enterprise use, as well as business intelligence, data analytics, and platforms such as Microsoft and SAP.

Riikka Uimonen, Investment Director leading the Amsterdam expansion for Reaktor Ecosystem, describes the type of founders she is looking for: "I'm looking for business leads with a vision, entrepreneurs-in-the-making and technology experts to build new-age consultancies with. Over the past few months I've been having conversations about bold visions and dreams with future founders and CEOs in the Netherlands. Great founders aren't just driven and disciplined. They are people with dreams."

An open invitation

To mark the official opening of the hub, Reaktor Ecosystem is hosting its Amsterdam Hub Warming Party on 21 May, an event aimed at experienced business leads, prospective founders and anyone curious about what building a consultancy from scratch looks like in practice.

The hub is located right on the Amsterdam canals and the team is open for conversations. For anyone with a bold idea and the ambition to build something of their own, Reaktor Ecosystem is keen to co-found together.
