# OSE Performance Analyst
We are looking for a Performance Analyst to join our Operations Strategies & Excellence (OSE) department.
## Key Responsibilities
- Design and organize large and complex data sets from varied sources, thinking strategically about uses of data and scalability issues
- Deliver mathematical and statistical models with proven predictive power
- Understand existing business processes, dive into underlying data, apply relevant Data Mining techniques and/or Machine Learning algorithms, and propose data analytic products to improve process intelligence
- Implement applicable Machine Learning or statistics-based algorithms for prediction and optimization
- Design, build and support algorithms for data transformation, conversion, and computation on Hadoop and other distributed Big Data Systems
## Requirements
- Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent
- 5 or more years of relevant experience
- Excellent understanding (algorithm level) of machine learning, statistics, and optimization
- Experience with popular data analysis and machine learning libraries (sklearn, TensorFlow, H2O, MLlib, etc.)
- Familiar with Hadoop ecosystem and key components (HDFS, Hive, Pig, Spark, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with data analysis, machine learning modelling, and data visualization with large-scale datasets in Hadoop systems
- Hands-on experience with different database architectures (SQL, NoSQL, Hive, HBase, etc.)
- Extensive knowledge of at least one scientific or statistical programming language (Matlab, R, or Python with SciPy, NumPy, Pandas)
- Prior work and/or research experience in data mining, pattern discovery, anomaly detection, and root cause analysis
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to communicate at all organizational levels
- Strong team player with ability to influence others toward consensus
- Goal-oriented with strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities
- Ability to convince, inspire and motivate people
