## About the internship

During this graduate internship, you gain practical experience with modern data technologies, AI-driven techniques and real-world challenges. You work closely with senior engineers, developers and architects and receive guidance throughout the research and development phases.

You are part of an enthusiastic group of interns and community within Avanade. You can participate in knowledge sessions, coffee chats with consultants, networking drinks and soft skills training. There is also the opportunity to earn a Microsoft certificate.

## Possible internship assignments

### 1. AI Expert Sales Assistant Agent

Design of an AI agent that functions as an "AI specialist" to support sales executives during customer interactions. The agent analyzes real-time AI-related requirements and advises on feasibility, scope, risks and value impact of proposed AI solutions.

Research topics:

• Conversation analysis: real-time interpretation of requirements
• Design of expert-system prompt architecture for AI-opportunity scoping
• Value engineering: automated assessment of feasibility, risks and complexity
• Evaluation of impact on sales accuracy, time-to-scope and proposal quality

### 2. Code Analyser Agent

Design of a multi-language Code Analyser Agent that automatically detects, interprets and structures source code, and then generates functional explanations. The agent supports refactoring, technical audits, documentation and cybersecurity analyses.

Research topics:

• Automatic language identification and syntactic parsing of multiple programming languages
• Strategies for code segmentation: file-based, object-oriented and functional
• Semantic interpretation: generating descriptions of code objectives
• Integration with DevOps pipelines and repositories such as GitHub
• Evaluation in cybersecurity assessments and technical-debt analyses

### 3. Microchip Scanner for Hardware Analysis & Testing

Design of an automated microchip and PCB scan analysis agent that detects components, identifies pin-outs and advises on test points. This supports manufacturing companies, telecommunications providers and government institutions in hardware compliance and firmware analysis.

Research topics:

• Computer vision models for PCB/chip recognition and component classification
• Automatic identification of pin functions and signal routes
• Placement and control of automated test probes
• Firmware extraction methods and security techniques
• Application in manufacturing QA, telecom hardware and hardware compliance
