# Senior AI Architect

## Your role in our team
As an AI Architect, you are the visionary and technical leader behind important AI initiatives. You design end-to-end AI architectures, determine the technological direction and ensure that AI, ML and LLM solutions are built safely, scalably and reliably.
In your role, you work at the intersection of business, technology and data. You advise stakeholders, guide teams and translate complex challenges into robust AI architectures that deliver value. You contribute to enterprise AI platforms and help the organisation mature in responsible, data-driven operations.
## What will you do?
- Design Enterprise AI architectures, including LLM, ML, NLP and automation solutions.
- Establish AI and data architecture principles, frameworks and best practices to deploy AI scalably and safely.
- Lead the technical AI strategy and roadmap; determine technology choices, platform standards and integrations.
- Translate business objectives into technical AI solutions and reference architectures.
- Collaborate with data engineers, MLOps teams, security specialists and product teams to take AI from POC to production.
- Ensure compliance (GDPR), security, governance and ethical AI guidelines.
- Design and implement MLOps/LLMOps processes for deployment, monitoring, lifecycle management and continuous improvement.
- Evaluate new AI technologies, frameworks and cloud services, and advise on vendor selection.
- Coach engineers, data scientists and AI specialists within projects or teams.
- Engage with leaders, architects and C-level stakeholders on AI strategy, risks and value creation.
## What do you bring?
- Completed hbo (higher professional education) or university degree in AI, Computer Science, Data Science or related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in AI, ML or data architecture (senior level) or experience with AI architecture and team management (manager level).
- Deep knowledge of AI/ML concepts, LLMs, GenAI, NLP, vector databases and retrieval augmented generation (RAG).
- Strong technical experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP (ML, AI and data services).
- Proficiency in Python or similar languages, including ML/AI frameworks.
- Experience with MLOps/LLMOps, CI/CD, feature stores, model registries and automated pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex AI concepts clearly.
- Ability to switch between strategic thinking and hands-on architecture work.
- Experience with enterprise environments, security-by-design and data governance is a major plus.
